Adding a text description to your course or project site from Site Info

Note: To complete the procedures in this document, you need to be assigned a role that has the necessary permissions. To find out what your role is, follow the directions in Participant roles. To add a text description to your course site or project site, follow these steps:

  1. In your site's menubar, click Site Info.

  2. Click Edit Site Information.

  3. In the "Description:" field, enter a brief text description of your site. This text will appear in the Worksite Information box on your site's homepage.

  4. Click Continue, and then click Finish.

Note: Your Worksite Information box may be configured to display a web page instead of your site description. If so, you will need to change your Worksite Information settings. For more information, see Adding content to the Worksite Information box.
